Board Updates

Update - Jan 29,2023

  • The Main Gate's motor connection has been broken. We're aware of the issue and are working on fixing it.

Update - Jan 22,2023

  • Both gates have newly painted yellow line stripes to keep cars on the right side of the road near the gate area and to avoid hitting the gate that opens towards them. 
  • The Board painted Texas Star on the gates as per inputs from the Meet-n-Greet and installed Entry/Exit signs on the gates with the help of Mr. Brand Duhon. 
  • OPEN BOARD POSITION: Anyone interested in serving on the board as the Director can send their details through the Contact form by January 27th, 2023.`

Monthly Meetup

The board will be available to meet the board community third Sunday of every month in the PMR park behind the pool 

  • The next meetup is Sunday, February 19th @ 2 PM.  
  • If you have questions – please use the Contact form to send them in.  The board will try its best to address them.
  • Board members are volunteers who act on behalf of the entire community (based on feedback).  Let us keep all interactions respectful and appreciate diversity. 


2023 Priorities

  1. Engagement – Increase interaction between Community and Board
  2. Digitization– Leverage PMR Website and Emails to keep the community up-to-date
  3. Feedback – Leverage the website to collect questions and feedback to guide board operations 
  4. Maintenance – No major infrastructure projects are planned – will try to improve street lighting and gate operations

2022 Highlights

  Gate Repairs:  New Board re-evaluated the gate system and fixed the below items as needed. 

  • Hinges are replaced in all four gates.
  • Replaced hood planks with new iron structures to reduce issues with gate maintenance.
  • Replaced the old entry keypad system with a new system.
  • Painted gates to renew the gate look.
  • Installed new warning Entry & Exist Only signs to help prevent gate collisions.

 Gate Cameras: New Board re-evaluated the existing camera system & identified that the equipment was in good condition and only needed a new hard drive.

  • The existing hard drive was replaced without any service cost.

 

Play Ground: Renovated the play area for kid’s safety


Road Safety: Speed bump installation to slow traffic - as per the contractor feedback, asphalt speed bumps will set in after a year (Summer).

Leasing policy: The board conducted a community survey and amended the existing leasing policy to ease restrictions but avoid sales to investors. 


Financial: Reduced unnecessary expenses.
